Classical ballet is the foundation from which nearly all dance styles have developed. It requires strong technique, athleticism, grace, a well-maintained posture, extension, and precision.

Ballet is an art form created by the movement of the human body.
It is also theatrical and can be performed on a stage to an audience utilising costumes, scenic design and lighting. It can tell a story or express a thought, concept or emotion. Ballet can be magical and exciting.

Pointe

This class is offered to students who have had ballet training and have developed the strength that is required to move forward into pointe training. Placement in this class will be made at the discretion of the ballet teacher and faculty.

Royal Academy Of Dance.

The Royal Academy of Dance is one of the world’s most influential dance education and training organisations.

They promote knowledge, understanding and practice of dance internationally. They seek to accomplish this through promoting dance, educating and training students and teachers and providing examinations to set standards and reward achievement.

Optional examinations annually.
